Priscilla Perry has been a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Hastings since 2001. She has served the church as a part-time secretary from 2005–2010 and again from 2019 to the present.
Professionally, Priscilla has dedicated her career to education. She previously served as an elementary teacher in both Putnam and St. Johns Counties and currently works in the Federal Programs Department for Putnam County Schools. She serves as the Program Specialist for the Migrant Education Program, a federally funded grant that supports mobile families who work in agriculture.
Family: Priscilla has been married to her husband, Timothy Perry, since 1987. Together, they have raised five children, all of whom were baptized at First Baptist Church of Hastings. They are also blessed with five grandchildren, whom Priscilla has the privilege of seeing and worshiping with at church.
Within the church, Priscilla has a long-standing passion for children’s ministry. She served for ten years as Vacation Bible School Director and is currently the Director of the Awana Clubs ministry. She also teaches 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday School twice a month and rotates on the Children’s Church team. Priscilla is grateful for the opportunity to serve and invest in the spiritual growth of children and families at First Baptist Church of Hastings.
