Joe Doty

Joe Doty serves as the Music Director at First Baptist Church in Hastings, where he uses his gifts to help lead the church in worship and encourage others through music. Although he received a singing scholarship to Florida Junior College in 1983, music became a central part of his life in the early 2000s when he stepped into the role of Music Director. Since then, he has been grateful for every opportunity to serve the Lord through worship.

Professionally Joe spent many years in the restaurant and hospitality industry. For the past decade, he has been employed by the State of Florida and currently serves as a Supervisor with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Joe and his wife, Veronica, have been married for 38 years. They have one adult daughter and later in life felt called to grow their family through adoption. They welcomed their son in 2022 and their daughter in 2025, and they remain deeply grateful for the blessings God has given their family.
